The task
Zajadacz is an electronics wholesaler. The supply side of the business is complex, with many different suppliers and a lot of data to manage. The client wanted a dashboard to help their planners manage the supply chain more effectively.
The project was a complete rebuild of an existing system, with a new data model and a new frontend.
How I worked
I started from the data that already existed and got a simple version on screen early, so the client could react to something real instead of a specification.
From there it grew to a detail page per supplier, lists for the recurring processes, and filters for the views they open every morning.
The frontend is React and TypeScript, built from shared table, filter and status components, so each new view cost less than the one before it.
Outcome
It went live and is used for the daily supply planning.
Being the only frontend person on a project this size was the biggest step in my time at the agency. The main thing I would change is testing: I relied on manual checking longer than I should have.
